This is a great opportunity to work for the UK’s leading veterinary wholesaler. We are a wholesaler aiming to provide our customers with their first choice product, first time, through our next day supply and distribution service.

This is a full-time opportunity for you to join our team, to support VetIT customers in their use of our products and to deliver to them written and online training material as appropriate

What you will be doing

  • Work with new clients to understand their business operations in preparation for migrating to VetIT
  • Advise and problem solve configuration needs of new client systems through a process of product familiarisation.
  • Manage resistance to adoption of VetIT
  • Agreeing explicit data extract or update requirements with customers.
  • Running existing SQL scripts to extract or update data.
  • Writing new SQL scripts to provide data extracts or apply data updates
  • Identify clients training needs and deliver both pre implementation and post implementation training and support.
  • Work with other colleagues in sales, technical support, and implementation teams
  • Communicate configuration and implementation needs to the Implementation Technical team.
  • Pass any potential need for other solutions in the VetIT product portfolio to the sales team
  • Keep internal record and tracking systems of up to date
  • Schedule Training for new and existing clients
  • Design tailored training, if required, to meet the business processes of clients in addition to standard training
  • Perform processes to ensure implementations and support training is handled professionally
  • Manage and keep up to date training schedules
  • Deliver online training and face to face as required
  • Contribute to general support for existing clients

Who we are looking for

  • Team working
  • Project management
  • Understanding of Agile working
  • Relational data modelling.
  • SQL Server or other relational databases such as MySQL / Postgres SQL.
  • DTS /NoSQL/IIS/PowerShell Scripts
  • MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Scripting / reporting / extraction languages.
